It's been a rough start for Colorado. Most resorts haven't hit the 75" mark for the season, and several are lucky if 25% of their terrain is open. The storms rolled in earlier this week for many locations, dropping anywhere from 10-20" of light fluffy powder... meaning I called in sick yesterday and headed down to Monarch with my friend Jay for my FIRST day on skis this year. They only reported 3" overnight, but I'll let you be the judge of the validity of that report.

Get some, boys! CO for myself at the same time. 1/29-2/7 ATM, but thinking about adding a few more days to the front end of the trip. It's only an extra $25. Even thought about going to Utah for those first few days as well, if I can add it on cheaply.
