Been out in Tahoe the last few days. A couple sunny days to start the trip then a nice little storm came through and dropped several inches of light fluffy pow on top of an incredible base . We were at Heavenly on the 7th and it dumped a few inches right at close and went from hard packed to squeaky with powder turns up against the wind fences off sky chair the last hour of the day .Sierra faired better from the system and got about twice as much snow so we went there the next day. They have some amazing rock drop lines that link up perfectly for some Qbert action. The day started out semi- bluebird then some snow squalls moved in after lunch and it really started coming down hard after lunch and refilling some ..We rode bell to bell finding untracked lines all day until they made us leave at 4

Eventually Im going to try and put some clips together from some of the other runs.

For now a few pics.

One of the guys in our crew was struggling to get ready so we ended up getting 5th chair .

Pretend a spine on the edge of the groomer for the first run to feel it out.

I forgave said crew member for slacking after the first tree run.

Pulley

After lunch dumpage.

Marshmellows everywhere

Looking back at the previous pillow run down the left side of this pic in Huckleberry.

Scenic Sierra trees + boulders like this litter the Grandview area.

Such a fun mountain!

No wonder I never saw you at Snowshoe last week-- I'd take those trees anyday -- you scored on timing again, really great looking

Depends on what you like . Kirkwood + Squaw /Alpine for steeps .

People rag on Heavenly but it has some legit terrain especially the trees. The views are amazing too .

Here's a pic from Tue the 5th at Heavenly.Still finding lightly tracked snow from a small storm a week prior.

Since I snowboard and love riding trees Sierra + Homewood are my favorite for that aspect.
