The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Again the night before it snowed another 2" to give a little more to work with... this was

1.Aries Woods

2.Milky Way Bowl upper left side

3.Motts Canyon

Was a little nervous about some bigger rocks... but snow was very fun!

Will include details of where I stayed, recommended food, etc.. later



Headed to Squaw Valley for a ski day tomorrow.

Looks like you are enjoying yourself.

Have you found the firebreak gate?

After about a 1/2 mile tree run it opens up and you get to a burn area that looks like this.

Conditions permitting you can do gondi laps down to the casinos! 3.5 k vert

Yep, those trees do look heavenly...good stuff



(those are also some big-*** treewells, on a low-viz powder day they could eat you up without burping)

HeyHey... I did see the firebreak gate. did not go in cause I was by myself.

Have moved on to Squaw.. If I go back I will hit that for sure.
