It was a girls' weekend for me and my Goddaughter since her school had a teacher workday. Went up early on Friday, with a detour to AppNet to deliver unclaimed clothing. Got on the snow midmorining. It was in great shape. Cloudy early but the sun came out and with all the snow on the trees it was a winter wonderland.

The Rave got her first taste of the park, landing some small jumps and conquered White Lightning with linked turns.

Sunday was not as lucky with the park but she's a trooper and stayed on the snow!

Ski Patrol was generous in looking the other way so I got my first taste of the trees.

Not exactly a graceful exit...

Her goal before starting college next year was to make first tracks so we were on the snow early, and had an all SkiSE first chair!

Except for the busted lip, it looks like you had a great time.

More worried about her head. She is recovering from a concussion in January.

I'm sure Mike was glad to get his leopard print thong back. :D
