Unbelievably fun night. Pleasantly surprised at how much snow there was/is. I was afraid grooming and the wind would have ruined the pow but it didn't. The sides were boot deep in spots and the groomers had an inch of fluff on top because it was dumping so hard. Chairs at the top that didn't run all day had 8 inch pillows on them.

Lots of face shots. The best ones came when poaching Whoopdeedoo. The entire right side was windloaded and had me choking on snow with each turn. It's the first time I've ever had turns like that in NC. Here are the pics.

Measured the snow before I left. It's now at 7.

Found some trees.

Poached under the lift.

Face shots all night.

Finished the night off right by riding right down to the car.

It's still dumping. Tomorrow should be SICK. I'll be out there again tomorrow night. Be careful if you're driving up, the roads are pretty bad right now. Saw a few cars on the side of the road.
WOOOOOO!

Fantastic.. I was there Saturday night and it was pure slush and I thought it would be my last trip of the season. Looks like I'll have to make it out Thursday for my third "last trip".

Today was awesome. Prob the most fun I've had a Sugar in a long time! Between 9 and 11 was prime time. The jongs came in soon after and did their best to snowplow everything down. The snow falling was great and I managed a few tree runs off Big Red. Wed should be great too. I'm gonna find some backcountry turns.

Sorry Davidski, no pics due to a busted laptop.
