First, sorry for the delay and apologies to anyone who has been waiting for an Homestead update.
Update: I'm guessing it is the same. Which I think is their point. Hell they don't actually want you to find it at all.
When you drive south on 220 there is the standard brown and white sign Ski Area Ahead and then you come into WarmSprings and there are no more indications. I drove around figuring I would see the sign, and then around and around the Homestead -- nothing, there are no signs.
I ultimately had to ask for help-- I was told to follow the unmarked road to the owner's club past one of the most serious pieces of craftsman architecture I have ever seen, up the road till I saw the sign pointing to ski lodge
and I was on my way-- parking
this was the slowest lift I have been on in the last 15 yrs, after the first time it was a challenge to try a second encounter, this is a double black lift, you recoil each time at the prospect. I made four runs

The trees above the lift and along the side are so perfect, but even after a cold powder weekend it was sun crusted here, still imagine after a good storm--
The slopes and terrain park were very firm
The Lodge was special, it was empty on a Monday afternoon but I could imagine it hopping. And the Homestead as a destination is an amazing place, their ski slope obviously not so much. But everyone was cool
The bartender was a sweetheart and all the moms watching their kids first runs was familiar. No satire or pretense everyone there was great----It will be part of my next Spa weekend (if that occurs). Leaving I tried to hit the Sam Snead Tavern , it seemed appropriate but sadly was closed

great stuff, maybe a weekend with the wife. They advertise snowmobile tours. Did you see or hear anything on that ?

As far as snowmobile tours, I can't imagine -- the Bartender told me they have a cross country operation that hasn't had the trails to open for a few years.
Winter I think leave the skis at home, just not worth it --and the late spring or autumn there would be amazing, beautiful area, world class facility -- pool complex looked crazy. I'm not much into any pampered experience but I've heard a lot that they are great to anyone, truly hospitable atmosphere with some decent price options up to the top of the scale

Nice David, but I am not sure why you insist on putting so many pics in your TRs. I prefer not to put any in mine that way I have to focus more on producing some high quality writing. 
On a side note I found my camera (and cord) and was just looking at my lovely pics from a powder day at Pico from last year. I might describe the scene with many words if you want.

I've mellowed, wonder if that can last? My one day at Pico was definitely not a powder event more like a big blue ice bowing ball, however I was the only person on the mountain.
I'd love to ski there again w/ good conditions -- esp. some of the trees

I loved the trees there and I am not that good at it but i had fun with them there. PIco is only good after at least 6 inches (otherwise its all ice) and we had gotten 8 as I was there during the big blizzard that struck New England. Really cool place, nice complement to Killington but only on a powder day. They also need to be open to the top to make it worth it, but when its good its really good.
I am packing for PC now. Leaving tomorrow! I am so stoked. I got a suite for the last 5 nights of the trip. Maybe the other Kelly on here will be willing to post my pics again when I return she has been really nice about that cause I am too lame to figure it out.
