The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

It was small but a huge amount of fun! We arrived around 1:30 but our room wasn't ready so changed in the parking deck and finally got on the snow after 2. Immediately ran into Bazinga and his wife. Spent the afternoon at Soaring Eagle having fun, then checked in and went to Silver Creek for a great night of skiing. The snow was in good shape with only a few icy patches but the lines were long. Finished the night at the Junction with a great meal. The guns were on as we laid our heads on the pillows.

The morning was beautiful and clear. Skied the front side for a while until crowds drove us to the Western Territories and Silver Creek for lunch. Although the entire mountain was at capacity, amazingly there were no crowds and no wait at any lifts at SC. Of course there was plenty of hot tub time but those pics are censored.

Saturday night we met at Hoots at the Top of the World and had a blast. The Captain showed talents we didn’t know he had. There was eating, drinking, dancing and more until the wee hours. All I can say is “You should have been there!”

Sunday dawned with heavy fog and warm temps. However buy 9:15 the fog lifted and the conditions were nice and springy. The crowds were gone due to the early morning fog so I was able to lap on the front side all morning. Some of the group went to the Western territories which were not in a good shape so I was happy with my choice to play on Skip Jack. I was sad that Grabhammer was closed for Ski Patrol training though because it had been so much fun the day before.

We may have been a small group but the skiing, the company and fun was top notch. So glad I have this group of friends!

And I forgot to give a shout out to Tim for arranging tickets for Sunday. Sorry we missed you but look forward to seeing you next time.
