The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

I love it BUT THIS IS TOO MANY PICTURES.... I look forward to your winter reports from Utah but don't go Steven King

My son's still in China, he's had a blast -- a wonderful internship and then the summer semester at U of Peking. Chinese seem to love a gregarious American.

Cool travels and a very awesome winter to you sir

I'm not sure killing it is the word I'd use:) That was a good day. It was pretty cold at first but warmed up nicely. China looks cool enough and I enjoyed your TR of it. It also solidified my opinion that I never want to visit it:) How did it smell? I just imagine the whole place as smelling pretty funky.

Hong Kong on the other hand looked really cool. It'd be worth touring to see land marks from kung fu flicks if such a tour exists (they have one for smokey and the bandit so it's not that big of a stretch)

enjoy utah

In terms of urban planning, I am pretty sure the Chinese have created hell on earth.

The ski area in the photo at the end is Powder King, in central BC.
