Tagline: ......................I Love Cold, Rain and Snow!
Been thanked: 2 times

I picked up this 1993 model twenty foot pontoon last spring. I scored it from the second owner, it was sitting in a coverd barn for a few years. It needed some love, but the price was right..It was set up for fishing when i bought it, had a trolling motor, and older fish finder, rod holders all around, wore out 40hp outboard.. I spent a few months restoring it, still a work in progress as everytime I go out I think of more things to upgrade or change.. I put the retro stripe job on it, new stereo, bimini top, rebuild entire motor new pistons ect, rebuilt carbs, new fuel lines, gas tanks, ect. added a new gps plotter / downscan fish finder combo... ect..

We have been enjoying exploring, camping, and fishing on lake Hartwell this summer, I plan to hit some of the other area lakes also soon....

a few pics

named her "THE MORNING DEW"

The rear seat was missing when i got her, so I turned it into a raised fishing platform with jam! speakers from goodwill, and some free trex decking did the trick.. The Dead is jamming now!

Nice!!! Nice fish too!! Have not been to the lake or fished since I sold my Skeeter three years ago. Still got some of my rods, but not many. Think I still have 10. Tournament fishing will wear a brother down when it's every weekend at some lake somewhere. And it really cuts into skiing time in the winter. It really sucks to be on the lake watching the line guides freeze up while its snowing and 28 degrees, when you could be at Cat actually wanting it to snow. 14 years of that got to me. However, I do know Hartwell, Russell, Clarks Hill, Keowee, Jocassee, Douglas, Kentucky Lake, Barkley, Guntersville, Wheeler, Murray, Moultrie, Marion, High Rock, Burton, Lanier, Oconee, Okeechobee, The Harris Chain, Columbus, Logan Martin, and the Tom Bigby Waterway like the back of my hand. Probably a few more. With tat said, I would not mind a trip out to Hartwell just to drink some beer and maybe throw my rods a bit.
