The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.
We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

That's the south for you,just flurries but the stores are cleaned out like everyone is going to be snowed in for months!

Looks like the upper level low tracked way further north than anticipated. Models had it going across northern Alabama, northern Georgia and the upstate of SC. It went across the northern border of Tennessee instead and continues east today. This is probably a contributing reason for lesser totals in the North Carolina mountains.

I rode at Sugar yesterday. No way today was better than yesterday no matter what the optimists say. Maybe some loose snow the real pow was up in VA and WV though. So bummed I didn't go up that way. I was out at Sugar all day yesterday and today - today was definitely better. Just got back from the night session which was great too.
