In Canton visiting my parents and a friend on Ski Patrol called and wanted me to come to Wolf. I had never been so of course I went.

Poured snow all day, even when the sun came out! It made for great powder conditions.

I'd only heard bad things about Wolf so I wasn't expecting much so I was really surprised how much fun I had. I can see how it would get very icy but with 8 inches of fresh powder it was great. I loved the varied terrain. It was not crowded even though schools were out.

My recommendation is that if you ever get to go when it's snowing then jump on it!

I used to ski there in the... wait for it... 70's! And 80's...

It was my "go to" place to "get air". Mind you, I was skiing on 210 Dynamic VR7's at the time - mit Geze bindings.

Always wondered what happened to the girl I used to ski with, Jamie. She could flat ski. We'd chase each other all over the mountain. Naturally athletic, and weighing maybe 90lbs soaking wet, it was always fun chasing her at Wolf Laurel (as it was called before it was bought by a homeowners association...)

Beech is my "go to" now that I'm creeping into kodger-hood. Still, Wolf is only 20 miles away. I'll have to give it a go soon.
