The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Hit the old Cat for a Monday fun day with my old buddy and President of our local ski club Charles 70 years old and still ripping it up! Also finally got to use one of my free midweek passes!



Cat was in prime shape with 16 of 18 trails open, for sure the best conditions I have witnessed there in years.




Didn't take many photos was too busy ripping runs with no lift line :D here is a few.

Nice OldSchool but photosucket is no-school now so your pics son't show. I got hit with the same so I've been using the SSE editor to drag & drop inline.

i got that same photosucket update that they'll no longer host.

sucks.

guess all my old TRs are gone now.

Yeah Im old school.. thought old photobucket was working when I posted my TR...

I watched the Kenny "how to post a picture " thanks Kenny...

when I closed my first ski nc account because of the slick snake in the grass.....lol... this place lost 698 pages of epic pics and good TR's...

meadows is always open if you wanted to ski it.. even when the gate is closed.. didn't see any buses running people back to the lift tho ..lol...

Skiing Cat is usually my first day each year since I have three sisters in the Sylva area.... I still have never skiied meadows.

one sister got buried in this storm, 12 inches, lost power, etc

anyway glad to see a TR ... with PICTURES and all! The format changes really do suck, I've lost a lot, and now we trust it all to the cloud, in ten years it'll still be there right?

That Elk was sick. I saw one at Split Rail and Fie top once. Theyre humongous up close. Great pick
