Thanks to Jam for starting this thread. Let's keep 'em all here. I've got a truckload of videos, but admittedly missed some of the better carvers. Anyone with vids, please contact me about getting the raw footage. I can provide FTP access or whatever's easiest.

We want to create a nice AD with the best of the best.

I'll post up a TON more later. For now, here's a good shot of the Tailgaters...and a link to a HUGE one!

HUGE SHOT HERE> Looks like we still missed a few that I KNOW were there.

Very nice day. Snow was a little hard early, but softened well with the sun. Glad it wasnt 4 degrees. Great to meet alot of new peps. Doug, doug, and the other Doug had a good time at the grill. Im stickn to board names for them. Random peps I remember meeting... Tman, Grizley, Carvebeast, jam, CH illish, their girl, Musicmoves and GF, Superorb (Tall dude) and some guy on the lift who has been a member for 4 years, but doesnt know his sign on name or post. Alot of usuals Pinky, Jeffreyc, bultco, Keri and John David, Drew, Bronco, and mikes 4 women. I was amazed how much his family knew about the board members and were open and welcoming to all. Met alot more peeps too.

Quote of the day has to go the guy not with us in the compact who parked in our saved tailgate spot, which didnt stop us from partying all around him. When he returned to his surrounded car to leave during tailgating he said.......

"Man, I"ve been to every ski mountain in USA for GS races for over 12 years, and I have NEVER seen tailgating and skiing!" to which we stuck a big red sticker on his car, so he knows who we are.

Guess its a SKINC thing!

Great report jam; you had this thing posted before we even got out of the foothills! Awesome day at Beech, even though riding with those boarders all day cost me a few extra runs  But those guys can rip & it was great to meet you all. The quad line started to thicken early, so it was time to see what Oz had to offer. Jackpot! Oz was by far the best run of the day. Soft & lots of rollers to play on. We lapped Oz until it was time to head back for the group picture. Didn't see anyone waiting in front of Beech Tree & had time for 2 more trips up the quad. The line had dispersed at noon, so no line was nice. Ran back down to Beech Tree & still didn't see anyone so hit the parking lot to find everyone wrapping up lunch. Sorry we missed you guys, but Oz was just too good to break early for lunch (there are enough pics of me up here anyways)! Helped 2slik clean up the extra ham & hammes :D Then back out for a few more runs. Quad was a mess, but like jam said lift 6 was doable. Ran back to Oz in hopes of finding the morning goods still intact but found that the wind had picked up & shifted. So one run down Oz was about all we could stand after such a great morning, then a run down Robbins to find the Quad still clustered so on to the parking lot for an early start on the trip home. Looking forward to a redo again on Saturday!

^^That's how I roll!:D

First off, a HUGE thanks goes out to Mike, Sarah, the rest of the SkiNC/SkiSoutheast staff, Talia, and Beech Mountain Resort for putting on a great Summit once again. You guys rock!!

Yesterday was an absolute blast! Good times, good food, quite a few beverages, great weather, good friends(Some old, some new)= :>):>):>). My group(Me, dmkahlan, Clemsonkeri, Mr Clemsonkeri, Gringo Loco, undrscr) only made a few runs on the frontside, as we lapped Oz for most of the day. This was the most fun I've ever had on Oz with a run in the trees on skiers left @ the start, all of the hips, rollers, and little kickers to boost off of, and small stashes of pow. I did also get in one run on the liftline on Oz at the end of the day. Mr CK tried to get video of me, but I went by him before he could get setup. He taped after I went by him. Also, I decided to hit up #6 liftline for a run as well. Took a nice spill about half-way down and had to turn headfirst into some branches. It was that or head-on into the lift pole. No hospital trips for me.

Crowds were in force after our tailgate party, though I have been to Beech with worse crowds, and as others have said we decided to take #6 lift. Lapped Oz for the rest of the day and went down Lower&Upper Shawneehaw @ 4 to make our way to the Beech Tree for some drinks and some tunes.

I can't wait until next Saturday, as we will again do it up right.Hope to see everyone there.

A couple pics and video.

Looks like mid-week crowds so far.
