I have a Panasonic GS-120 (3CCD, MiniDV) camera. I use Final Cut Pro to edit my videos but if you don't have a Mac there are some good editing programs for PC. If you have a PC and want to start editing, a good program to use is Adobe Premiere Elements. It's not the full Premiere program but it will do everything you need it to. You can find this program on Ebay for pretty cheap ($30-$100). I think you can find tutorials on youtube to teach yourself how to use the program. If you have other questions don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks for the info. I'll diffently have to look into that.

Ok guys, from someone that has actually been there. This stuff doesn't replace snow, no one claims that. But for riding in August, it's a pretty good simulation of snow. If you're in the area, go give it a ride. If you're training to be a competitive athelete, then it has benefits. When it starts getting cold, stay away from this stuff, you will freeze your balls off after falling once and getting soaking wet. When you have this in your back yard, and a real mountain with actual snow on it within a 3 hours drive, make the drive. But again, May-early Sep, it does a pretty good job for what it is made for.

I doubt I'll be making any special trips up there this winter but sinse I'm gonna be up there for winterfest over new years ,I plan on riding then while I'm there. I personally want to make a couple runs up to Snowshoe this winter if I can afford to. Anytime anybody is heading up to snowshoe this year and wants somebody to go in on lodging please hollar at me cause that's really the only way I can afford to stay up there. Otherwise I'll have to make a few roundtrips which is rough cause I live 6 hours from Snowshoe.

Doesn't look like it would be worth a 6.5 hour drive EVER. But if I happened to be i the area I'd give it a whiz.

I would be the equivalant of driving that 6.5 hours to ride on about a quarter of THE CLOUDMONT. If it's there and it's all you got, go hit it. If you have other options of entertainment that are 6 hours closer, do that instead.
