It was a little less than three hours from Denver. On the way back it was faster- the roads were dry and the weather was perfect.
I haven't done any BC stuff around Monarch, but there is some SWEET looking terrain. If it weren't that far from my house, I'd probably go there pretty frequently.

^^^ Yep, we ran into two guys who had the buy-one-get-one-free vouchers, so we paid a whopping $28.
If anyone's ever in the area and has a little extra to spend, I'd HIGHLY recommend their cat skiing. It's like $225/day and the terrain back there looks sick.

Cooper did cat skiing too and it looked amazing. They needed more snow in the cat areas though.
