The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

I knew if anyone was going to WV trek, it'd be you David! What a way to get at it creatively! Hopefully the Mike Doble groovy mojo is the definitive sign of an epic season. m/

There's also a solid hundred-footer over a cave with a fake moonshine still in it at one point as well. Major gnar points for that one :D

Hey EC -- really glad to hear from you. Your first reports of meadow skipping around WG got me started putting sweat equity into some of my skiing. I bet you're serious about the tramline, so lucky for me I didn't straight line it -- to only discover in my final moments that the damn still is a fake.

I thought about you on my short powder runs at WinterPlace, Cheers

Any pics from hawksnest? That was the other place we thought about going. Glad we ended up where we ended up though.

No pics of hawksnest -- I drove up to the closed gate but didn't take a picture, actually, I didn't take a lot of pictures, WP was definitely better than what I showed

I wish I was in Canaan this weekend -- there getting more snow on that spectacular base and I think the Cafe at Whitegrass is opening. They are asking people to carpool in because of the difficulty of clearing all but a small portion of their parking area
