The upcoming Colorado trip with it's prepaid accommodations and travel expenses consciously kept me from that line.

In case anyone wondered, Kevin2 does not equal KevinS even if the letters look similar at a glance. The lines were long but as has been said they've been as bad on other Saturdays. I usually try to do nights/twilights and/or weekdays so I wasn't quite used to those waits.

That incline leading to the quad is still haunting me with soreness in the backs of my lower legs. One of the few places that I don't normally hurt after a day of skiing.

Obviously the summit has blown up. But honestly, we waited in a LITERAL 30+ min lift line on the quad. We had to go to the car TWICE because it was unacceptable what we were facing at the bottom of the hill. Look back to page 2 with the jamsandwich lift line pic. That is unreal. I dont have a problem with it, because sh*t, Im skiing, and whenever thats going on Im having the time of my LIFE. But its been echoed before; Wouldnt a Friday or Thurday be a better day for everyone to get to the slope??? We can all take a day off (minus the school kids who arent members on this board anyway)

STILL though. Had a fantastic time and will be there AGAIN next year. Thanks again to EVERYONE involved in making this happen. CHEERS Yall

Oh, and might I say to the original Summit crew, you guys haven't changed a bit! Hmm!

Only a man from TUCKER, GA. could say it so eloquently! (My hometown, Jeff!) ;)

You are showing just how young you are . . . and that you haven't yet worked to pay a house mortgage. Who do you think brings the kids and pays for their lift tickets?

Well put. I won't say anymore. I think I've made my perspective known earlier in this thread. I had a great time with all the other folks who were having a great time.

A few stray pics. Had a good time. Who ever ordered the weather did a great job. ;) Definitely more fun with kids with sun and temps in the 30's instead of fog, wind, and cold. Very glad Oz was open.
