No need to start a new thread, I was at Beech 1/4 as well. Snow was in really good shape. I was a little bummed that more wasn't opened, but they were working hard to get more open. Skied from 9-11am. Left a little early since it got a bit crowded on the snow, lots of little kids to watch out for. Got yelled at by a ski instructor for going "too fast". He was making wide turns without even looking uphill, I saw him the whole time and was never going too fast. Anyway, I made one more run and left after that. Pretty good day though for a $10 lift ticket.

It certainly is. Hopefully the rains next week will be light or maybe turn to snow!
