There hasn't been much snow in Colorado this season, so when the forecast in Utah called for 2-3 feet over the weekend, it piqued our interest. I made some calls to a couple friends, and within the hour we had plans: leave Denver Friday night, ski Utah Saturday and Sunday, and return home Sunday night. It was ambitious, but our powder fever was at an all time high. 13 hours of driving later, we came back satisfied.

It was well worth it. :)

This chute was MUCH tighter than it looks, and extremely steep. For those of you who've been to Solitude, its at the top of the Summit chair, off to the right.

And finally, the drive back home through Wyoming...

so (not to change the subject and all) -- do you hold out much hope for conditions at Loveland this weekend?

Marz- once I get a bunch more shots for my portfolio, I'm definitely going to put one together. :)

D- looks like snow is coming this week, so LL should be good this weekend. I heard it was skiing pretty well yesterday, actually.
