Sorry the pictures kinda suck, but we only spent 2 hours on the mountain. My foot was hurting pretty bad.
28" of powder fell Tuesday&Wednesday here at Snowy Range Ski (formally know as Medicine Bow). 40 minutes from Laramie, WY. I dropped some short video clips (The Benny Hill Show video?). Did my best, but I shake really bad.

Which lift is in the pictures? I moved before the expansion so I'm curious how the Sundance area is?

they put in a new lodge... so this is what I was told is the "back" area. So it was of Sundance. 1 of the kids I sponsor is the rider in the video. He was my guide. I was upset my battery died before I could take shots of the lodge and bunk house.
Centennial has a nice hotel that offers ski/stay packs and a very steakhouse. 3 restruants /motel's and a few B&B's. 10-15mins drive
If you want ultra rustic, not too many people to walk over (ski over for that matter), snowmobile, Xcountry and some amazingly short-hike B/C runs on the way to the ski area. 1 major drawback - WIND!
but very very amazing.... will get more pics next wed..... (i hope to)

Dreamnofpow,
It couldn't have picked a crappier day to host a $10 promo..... storm front moving, winds at 35mph+ at 8am.
Sorry, but choose not to drive the 140 miles OW to enjoy the "Blow":(
hope to get there sometime in the next 2 weeks before they close (maybe for good) as they are going thru bankrupt and are owned and run by the bank this season.

Thanks for the TR though. Many memories brought back from Medicine Bow. Maybe Obama will bail the ski area out. Long live Medicine Bow!
