The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

I am devoting the rest of this season to really learning to snowboard, It's a lot of fun. I went early on Sunday and the snow was funky chunky with good spots and bad spots (for a new boarder...on skis I'd have no complaints). The weather was better than expected this morning so I went early again. The snow was much better today than yesterday, more consistent. I had some friends helping me along and I had a great time tackling boulder and woop for the first time. I'm hooked, I think! The sky looked wicked and then finally at 11:00 I was forced to work, The "R" word came rolling in. While spring conditions, narrowing edges and a few weird spots are around, it is still great fun just being on the mountain! The first 3 pictures are Sunday and the rest are from this morning.

Nice. Skiwryter has gone to the dark side as well and is having a great time.

Dang. Sugar looks retarded long flat after the top 1/3 of the mtn. Maybe it was just the camera angle. I've never been there and would have rather been there than at work today. Glad you had fun!
