Got to work today all stoked about the fresh snow on the ground thinking it was gonna be a good day to ride.... boy was I wrong lol. Between the 2 degree temp, blustery wind, snowmaking, and no visibility, I did one run and called it a day. Most of the good fluff had blown away and nothing but hard icy sheets of death was left between the few good spots of freshies. Thanks mother nature for blessing us with snow, but did you have to bring the wind too?! lol. Tomorrow should be amazing after the groomers do their thing, but today was no bueno. Definitely a vertigo day. Anyways, here's the pics from earlier.

Snow is coming down!

Freestyle... actually a good little section of freshies for about 20 ft where this person was sitting.

Good to see Lighting covered in snow... even if it's just a lil bit!

My one good slash I got on Upper Shawneehaw before the vertigo set in lol.

I couldn't imagine being out there today. It was bad enough just taking the dog out. Hopefully tomorrow morning will be much calmer.

Looks brutal. Jam, peanut butter and I will be up there tomorrow night of you're trying to ride Jessica.

It looked pretty brutal on the cams when I looked today...bodies seemed few and far between. The wind was horrifying here in the AVL ~2k ft lower than you...couldn't imagine what it was like up there!

If the conditions stay good I'll be out there. Working all day every day makes me a very picky night rider lol. No park features for a couple more days though. Our main focus is laying down snow during this cold spell so be prepared for tons of snowmaking tomorrow night.

Unfortunately, you'll have to take Peanut Butter out of that equation...working tonight...won't be able to make it back out there until early next week :(
