Went to Monarch on December 20 and 21. With the recent snows, the conditions were generally good, except for a few bare spots at the top. Also, Mirkwood was not yet open. Although some of the locals were complaining about the lift lines, the longest my son and I had to wait was about 3 minutes. We had a great time and will be back over around New Years.

looks awesome out there. Too bad Mirkwood wasn't open but looks like you had great conditions.

I was there on the 19th and it was primo... I'd imagine there were plenty of leftovers on the 20th.

Yep, got the pass. Just finished skiing three days at Purgatory, and will be skiing a couple days at Sunlight, one day at Cooper, them back to Monarch for a couple days. The passes for my son and I were a great deal. And when I get back I get three days at Cat!

Too bad you're not closer to Monarch now... I heard today was amazing and tomorrow should be just as good.
