Today (Sunday was even better than yesterday according to Winter and a few others that skied yesterday. Today was bluebird with no wind and some creamy powder on parts of Southern Star. I was lucky enough to get there before it was all gone! it's hard to say which run was the best, they were all so fun. Robbins had racing on it early but they were done by lunch. Robbins, Star and White Lightning were all in good shape with no thin spots. the only drawback was the lift lines were long due to a malfunction with lift 1 on Lower Shawneehaw. They were able to get it going using parts from lift 6 but there was a pretty big line for a while.

Had a lot of fun with new and old friends, Great to see Andrea and Mellow (who had his own preteen fan club) as well as Enton and the PB and J.

And for those of you who were lucky enough to see the Skipink doing her trick skiing, sliding downhill, backwards, on her back for most of the length of WL, I meant to do that.

Lower Shawneehaw early with pretty corduroy

A familiar alpine boarder on WL

From where we were in the lift line, I knew there would be a good chance. Later when we actually rode the lift together, I knew I would never even be close.

good to see everyone out there. brutal lines again today... what gives? got at that mtb course though. It begins on the first connector between Robbins and Southern with an awesome banked chicane, then cuts abruptly across robbins and continues between robbins and shawnee with a fun little rock drop down to the road aka 'crossway trail', then down, across a creek with an awesome little hit, and pops out at the bottom of robbins.

park was primo. great flat rail and box placements up top, 2 perfect medium sized booters in the mid section, a little hip off to the left, and a monstrous maybe 40 footer? probably a 12 foot tall kicker no nanz. did not hit. im not sure anyone did. lol

good stuff

The snow looks great! I am dying to get up there. Hopefully I'll be cleared to ski before all the snow is gone.
